• Scrape, harvest, or bulk-download content, or use automated systems to train commercial AI models on the content without written permission.
• Use the content, name, likeness, voice, or AI likeness of Chuck Goetschel in a way that implies endorsement, partnership, or authorship without written permission.
• Use the Site to violate any law, infringe anyone's rights, distribute malware, or interfere with the Site's operation or security.

By subscribing you consent to receive The AI Brief and related emails. Subscription uses confirmed opt-in and every email includes an unsubscribe link. We may change the frequency, format, or content of the newsletter, or discontinue it, at any time. We may remove any subscriber at our discretion.

If you send us ideas, feedback, questions, testimonials, or other materials, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable license to use, reproduce, adapt, and display them for any purpose, including in content and marketing, without compensation or attribution. Do not send confidential or proprietary information you do not want used. You represent that you have the right to send anything you submit.

Much of the content is created with AI assistance. Your use of it is subject to the AI Content Disclaimer, which is fully incorporated into these Terms and which includes important limitations of liability and an indemnity. Read it before relying on any content.

The Site links to third-party websites, products, podcasts, books, and AI tools, some of which may be affiliate links that pay us a commission at no additional cost to you. Recommendations reflect genuine opinion, but we do not control and are not responsible for third-party sites, products, pricing, terms, availability, security, or data practices. Any transaction with a third party is solely between you and that third party.

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Site, including content, downloads, and features, at any time without notice. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

The site and all content are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, accuracy, and any warranties arising from course of dealing or usage of trade. We do not warrant that the site will be secure, uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or harmful components.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Chuck Goetschel and his affiliates, contractors, licensors, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, business opportunity, or reputation, arising out of or relating to the site or its content, under any theory of liability, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total aggregate liability for all claims shall not exceed one hundred U.S. dollars (US$100).

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions or limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you; in that case our liability is limited to the smallest amount permitted by law.

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Chuck Goetschel and his affiliates, contractors, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the Site, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. You agree that any dispute will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Orange County, California, and you consent to personal jurisdiction there. Any claim must be brought within one (1) year after it arises or it is permanently barred. You and we each waive any right to a jury trial and to participate in a class or representative action.

Where you interact with our content on third-party platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, or TikTok, that platform's own terms and policies also apply, and those platforms are not sponsors of, and are not responsible for, our content or promotions.

If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and AI Content Disclaimer, are the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Site. We may update these Terms at any time; the “Last updated” date reflects the current version and continued use constitutes acceptance.
